My acrylic on canvas painting from Dec 2011.
This one is different. I just saw this picture on a poster and wanted to try my hands on it...was very tempting !
I like the serenity and the freedom in the picture. Spacing out the objects in your paintings gives a lot of meaning and depth to the composition.
This time, I have tried to capture the piece in the making ;-)

Lampshade - Warli
For some reason, I never posted this piece I created last year.
Now, it's time I share it with you all. This is a simple cardboard lampshade I made at home.
Materials used: Think Cardboard (Black), Butter paper, 0.5 tip Black pen and some glue :-)
Warli on the paper is much more easier to draw than on wall and this was a quick one. It takes more time to assemble the pieces than do the drawings ;-)
And this is how it looks when it is lit !!!
